The Government of Ontario has affirmed Bill 77 the Affirming Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Act, which amends portions of the Health Insurance Act and Regulated Health Professions Act to prevent funding of “conversion” therapies and to prohibit such therapies for those under the age of 18.
