Staying Informed and Joining the Conversation: OAPA’s Online Post College Council Meetings

September brings us into a new membership year for OAPA. In the previous year we held one of our largest conferences to date (sold out!), held a regional meet-and-great for our eastern members, and soft-launched an ever-expanding website. While we know these initiatives have allowed us to connect with many of you, we are always looking for new ways to keep the membership up-to-date and to engage each of you in the important conversations that will shape the future of Psychology regulation in Ontario.

After a successful small group experiment a year ago, we are excited to announce that OAPA will be hosting an online meeting (which you may join by phone, computer audio, or video) the Monday following each CPO Council Meeting. While we will continue to update the membership about the important issues that emerge at these meetings through our forums, website, and newsletters, these meetings will be the best opportunity to get the most important details quickly and to ask the questions you need answered.
Currently the scheduled online meetings are as follows:
  • Monday September 21st 8pm
  • Monday December 7th at 8pm
  • Monday April 4th at 8pm
We will announce connection information (or a possible RSVP system) a couple of weeks prior to the September meeting.
We hope to see many of you there!
